On Good Friday, the Nobles of Malik Temple #270 were honored to serve and fellowship with our brothers and sisters at The Foundry Ministries in Bessemer, AL.
The Foundry is committed to restoring hope and rebuilding lives through Christ-centered recovery—helping men and women overcome addiction, rebuild their lives, and walk in purpose and freedom. Today, we had the privilege of providing and serving lunch, but even more importantly, sharing meaningful fellowship and encouragement.
The Illustrious Potentate, Noble Marlon “$lim” Ellington, offered powerful words of encouragement and lifted the participants in prayer—reminding all present that restoration is possible and purpose still remains.
The fellowship was truly a blessing, and we are grateful for the warm appreciation shown to the Nobles. On this Good Friday, we were reminded that serving others is one of the clearest reflections of the love of Christ. “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister…” (Mark 10:45).
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and to stand alongside The Foundry helping make a real impact in our community. The appreciation shown to the Nobles was truly felt, and we leave encouraged just as much as we aimed to encourage.
